Website Design

This is the discovery stage whereby Intelry Inc. engages with the project stakeholders on the client and/or partner agency side to explore the business requirements of a project.

The purpose of these tele/videoconference sessions is to identify the set of requirements each stakeholder has. Once all requirements are gathered, we review their significance and dependence on the system core and the success criteria of each function or feature. Then we assign a priority level to each user-story. We group all related user-stories of feature and functionality into bigger milestones called Epics.

• Study and define User Personas
• List down User Stories and Epics (collection of user stories related to a function/feature)
• Create Use Cases/ User Information Flow

Result: We develop a Business Requirements Document (BRD) which defines the scope-of-work and lists down every minute detail the project will deliver.

We initiate the research to understand the world around us and all the players in the industry, category and market. BRDs help navigate the research scope so it doesn’t deviate from the trajectory of the deliverables.

• Study category nature, competitive approaches and best practices
• Evaluate features and functions against international standards; mimic natural world interactions as needed
• Develop the information architecture
• Define the User Journey(s) and map out the interactions across all features and functionalities
• Analyze trends in UX and UI, design principles and rules

Result: A concrete information architecture, User Journey(s) and a concept design board that interprets the building blocks of an effective UX to follow.

This is one of the most significant stages in the development of the digital product. Every action here will have a ripple effect in the front- and back-end build and product delivery.

• Generate ideas to build interactions that users will have on a specific journey(s)
• Build the UX wireframe of each module and/or milestone as defined in the project delivery timeline
• Set-up project overview sessions with the stakeholders (i.e., product managers, designers and developers) at each interval of the UX development, to periodically review and approve the UX designs as it reaches a given milestone
• Refine the UX once all milestones are completed to achieve the most fluid User Journey to conversion
• Define data capture points that will feed into data analytics and marketing analytics set-up during the deployment stage. This is part of Intelry’s continuous improvement methodology

Result: A well-designed wireframe detailing all user flows, interactions and conversions. Documentation of key considerations in data analytics.

Transform the UX to a graphical interface that users will eventually interact with. The UI is designed very carefully and will adhere to the brand identity and guidelines. At the same time, Intelry Inc. uses its deep understanding of branding and brand development to navigate a brand’s identity within new digital touchpoints.

At this stage, we finalize the details in design, iconography, tone, texture, styling, movements and interactions that become part of a design language for the brand in the digital sphere.

• Develop well-designed pages and instances of the application
• Build fully elaborated design themes, language, movements, styling and guidelines – a design toolkit
• Develop a library of icons, images, graphics, voice, tones, animations (movements)
• Initialize the artwork files for the front-end build stage

Result: A complete visual experience of how the final product will look like. At this stage the interactivity is negligible to non-existent, however, all interactions and transitions from one state of design to another are recorded in a design-toolkit

As the UI designs are finalized, Intelry’s front-end and back-end development teams are tasked with coding the website based on approved UI designs and business requirements (defined at the start of the project). This is the transition from a great web application design (form) to a core-build (functions) of the application, in the Front-End (browser run functions) and Back-End (server run functions) developmental stages.

Result: A solution designed to deliver current and expected future requirements, and possess the modularity to expand and evolve as the user requirements change.

Launch date comes with a list of preparations, testing, Go/NO-GO, roll-back scenarios & contingency planning to ensure the deployment is done successfully. After a project is launched, Intelry conducts periodic checks and scans to test the performance of the application.
